Apple and Carrot Bread
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: Varies according to machine
Makes: 1-1/2 lb loaf.
- 1 1/8 c Apple juice
- 1/3 c Carrots, grated
- 1 1/2 Eggs
- 2 1/3 tbs honey
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/3 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tbs gluten
- 3/4 c Oat or wheat flakes
- 3 c Whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp Yeast
- 1/3 c Dried apples
- 1/3 c Nuts, chopped (opt)
Medium colour setting.
- Add ingredients according to manufacturer’s directions.
- Add nuts and apples at the beep.
- Turn loaf out onto a wire rack to cool.
